Today I helped my dad install a new rotor and caliper on his truck and installed a new shifter on my Camaro.

Kinja'd!!!

Not a single metric bolt was touched.

lulz. You do know that the entire auto industry started switching over to the metric system in the 80s right?

Well, in 1893 the US customary units were defined off of the metric standard so technically they were always touched by it.

Really? Camaro's are built in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. We are Pretty big fans of the whole metric thing up here (hikes suspenders). I am not questioning, just amazed that there were no metric bolts on that thing.

The are now, but my Camaro was built in California back in 1971. I have no idea where my dad's truck was built but I suspect Michigan since it's a '77. That's almost Canada!
